- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I purchased a £650 set of oak garden furniture from this companys stand at the Grand Designs show. After just a month outside it quickly began to degrade. Not just the surface but it developed serious cracks in the wood on the fronts and arms of the chairs and the table joints started to split, all of which was beyond repair. I called Garden Furniture 4 U on several occasions but my call was not returned. Eventually I managed to speak to the sales manager who tried to fob me off saying hed need to speak with the manufacturer (unacceptable as my consumer rights are that the contract is with the company I purchased from) he was then was rude, hung up on me and didnt call back. I sent two recorded delivery letters according to the process given by Citizens Advice. Both were received but ignored. Eventually I was able to make a claim through my credit card but I sincerely hope that they will continue to pursue this unethical company and make them face up to their responsibilities.By michaelhamilton, June 01, 2018
